The blue bottle of Bartolomeo delivers a strong message, similar to the ones thrown out into the open
sea. The shades of blue echoes the depths of the ocean with its infinite colours. Bartolomeo’s blue
perfectly mingles with the mosaic tiles, entirely silkscreened onto the bottle. These mosaics recall
the azulejos, found within Portuguese architecture, the birthplace of Bartolomeu Dias, the
inspiration of the brand's name.
The label in the centre of the bottle naturally contrasts with the roundness of the mosaics. The wooden cap of the astrolabe references to the time when wooden caravels were sailing through the Cape Route, discovered by Bartolomeu Dias.
